Angel Tree - The WMU is sponsoring the Angel Tree for Christmas this year. If you feel led to help with this gift of love please take an angel. Please have the gifts back at church by Sunday, December 14th.
Christmas Poinsettias - If you are interested in placing a poinsettia in memory or honor of someone, there is a sign up sheet at the back of the church. The cost is $15.00 each. The last date to order is Sunday, December 7th.
Miles of Pennies- Our penny drive for the Baptist Children's Homes started last Sunday. We will be collecting Sunday, Nov. 2nd through the end of January. Please pray and give what the Lord blesses you with. The Baptist Children's Home will match what we are able to give.
5th Sunday Night Sing- Sunday November 30th at 6:00pm. Warren Plain will be the host church We look forward to seeing & praising God through song with all of you!
WMU & Brotherhood - are hosting a Christmas Social on Tuesday December 9th at 6:30pm. It is open to everyone in the WMU, Brotherhood, and church family. We are asking each single person or family to bring a fingerfood to share for light refreshments. There will be games, prizes, fun, and fellowship.
WMU Reminder - You will be meeting December 2ng at 11:00 to decorate the Fellowship Hall Christmas Tree and the table to prepare for the DKG Dinner & Social.
We will have a joint Thanksgiving Service with Jerusalem Methodist Church. Sunday, November 23rd at 6:00PM at Jerusalem. Please plan to join us for this special service as Mrs. Cindy Taylor will be speaking.
The Children's Christmas and Adult Cantata will be held on Sunday, December 14th beginning at 5:30 PM. There will be a time of fellowship with refreshments and a special guest after the programs in the Fellowship Hall. Please plan to bring your favorite finger foods and stay for this special time.
Blessings Box - The Blessings Box is up and filled with groceries in front if the Hawtree Volunteer Fire Department in Wise. You can continue to support this mission by making a financial contribution to the church with "Blessings Box" written in the memo line. You may also bring non-perishable food items and place them in the designated boxes. Thank you for your continued support.
Pastor Bobby Harrell will begin being our interim pastor beginning in December. He and his wife, Debbie are very excited to be serving here and we are so excited they will be here leading us, praying with us, worshiping with us, and building relationships with our church family and community.
